Dr. Sanjay Kumar Goja was responsible for the first Robotic Hepatectomy in India. He has worked as a Senior Resident (DNB) in Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, HPB surgery and Liver Transplantation (2005-2008) and as a Clinical Fellow in Liver Transplantation (2008-2009) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi India previously. He international fellowships include Fellowship European Board of Transplant Surgery(FEBS), Laparoscopic liver resection, Ethicon Institute,Cincinnati,USA and Robotic HPB Surgery, Yonsei medical centre,Seoul,South Korea. In his professional career, he has worked as an Associate Consultant HPB surgery and Liver Transplantation (Feb 2009-Oct 2010)Inderprastha Apollo Hospital New Delhi,India and as a Consultant (HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation Oct 2010-Jun 2013) at Medanta. Since 2013, he is working as a Senior Consultant(Senior Faculty) at HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation Dept. of Medanta. He is a member of globally renowned clubs like IAGES (Indian Association Of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons), ILTS(International Liver Transplant Society), CRSA(Clinical Robotic Surgery), IASGO(International Association of Surgeon,Gynae and Oncologists) and Core Group Member (Asian Association of Robotic HPB surgery).
