Dr. Gomathy Narasimhan is a Liver and Kidney Transplant Surgeon. She completed her surgical training from Madras Medical College, India followed by multi organ transplant training from Baylor University, Dallas, Texas under Dr. Goran Klintmalm and subsequent Living Donor Liver Transplant training from Prof. Inomata at Kumamoto University, Japan. She has over 10 years of experience with liver and kidney transplant surgery and has managed over 600 liver transplant and 1000 kidney transplant patients.

He has been instrumental in establishing liver anaesthesia and intensive care unit at the Gleneagles Global Health City. He has got experience of managing more than 1000 liver transplant recipients in the perioperative period including 250 paediatric liver transplants, more than 800 living donor liver transplants (LDLT) and more than 200 deceased donor liver transplants (DDLT). His experience also includes perioperative management of auxiliary liver Tx, acute liver failure, combined organ transplants and Tx for complex and rare metabolic liver diseases in kids.

Dr. Kumar Palaniappan did his post graduation and specialization at Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai. Has worked as a senior resident at SGPGI, Lucknow. He underwent Liver Transplant Surgery training at Medanta - The Medicity, Gurgaon. Trained at Robotic HPB Surgery at Vattikutti Institute of Robotic Surgery. Performs Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgeries. Further training in HPB & Liver Transplant Surgery at Asan Medical Center, Seoul. Had Laparoscopic Liver Surgery training at Iwate Medical University, Japan.

Dr. Mettu Srinivas Reddy has completed his medical training from JIPMER, Pondicherry. He completed training in General surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He then moved to the UK where he acquired specialist training in HPB surgery & Transplantation units in Leeds and Newcastle from 2004 to 2011. He completed his PhD in Transplant biology during this period and joined the unit as Senior Consultant Surgeon in 2012.

A graduate of Madras Medical College, Dr. Rammohan did his Basic & Higher Surgical Training in Surgical Gastroenterology & HPB Surgery from Stanley Medical College, India. He went on to complete his Higher Surgical Training in Gastrointestinal Surgery and FRCS from Cambridge University Associated Hospitals, UK. He was awarded the University Diploma in Advanced Upper GI Minimal Access Surgery from L’Université de Strasbourg, France. Dr. Rammohan has also completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Liver Transplantation.

Dr. Rajesh Rajalingam did MBBS in Tirunelveli Medical college and MS in JIPMER, Puducherry. Completed super specialisation (MCh) in Gastrointestinal/ HPB surgery at GB Pant hospital, New Delhi. Joined the unit as post-doctoral fellow in 2011. Completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Liver Transplantation under Dr.M.G.R Medical university and appointed as Consultant surgeon in the unit from 2014.
