What Is it?
Intraocular lens (IOL) are lens implanted in the eye used to treat cataracts or myopia. Whenever a person undergoes cataract surgery, he/she has 2 different options either goes for intraocular lens or for contact lenses/eyeglasses are used. There are different types of intraocular lens are there which depend on person conditions whether nearsighted or farsighted or many other factors. The most common type of IOL is the pseudophakic IOL. - Don't go for drive immediately after surgery.
- Don't do any heavy lifting exercises for a few weeks.
- Try to prevent putting extra pressure on your eye.
- Have a follow-up appointment with your cataract surgeon to avoid complications.
