Dr. Harshavardhan K. Hegde is currently the Executive Director of Orthopaedics and Spine at Rockland Hospital, New Delhi. He is a famous surgeon with an extensive experience of over 28 years in joint arthroplasty surgeries, spinal surgeries, and surgery in trauma cases.

Dr. Hegde has been associated with some of India’s most renowned hospital chains and research institutes like Apollo Hospitals (Ahmedabad), Fortis Hospitals (Delhi and Noida), Sitaram Bhartiya Institute of Science & Research (Delhi), Artemis (Gurgaon), Max Healthcare (Delhi) and Bhailal Amin General Hospital (Baroda). He has also been the Professor and Head of Orthopaedics at the Pramukh Swami Medical College in Gujarat.

He completed his MBBS from the Baroda Medical College in Gujarat in 1982 before successfully pursuing MS (Orthopaedics) from the same institute in 1987. He has also been the Spine Fellow at Klinikum Karlsbaad, Germany (2001), Spine Fellow at Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital, Oxford, UK (1996- 97) and Sr. Registrar in Orthopedics at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, UK (1994-96).

He has many professional memberships to his credit which include Delhi Orthopaedic Association, Indian Orthopaedic Association, GMC (UK), Indian Association of Spine Surgeons, Girdlestone Orthopaedic Society (UK), Ahmedabad Orthopaedic Association, the Gujarat Orthopaedic Association, and Gujarat Spine Society.
