Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas is a highly experienced surgical oncologist with expertise in the treatment of head, neck and thorax cancers. He specializes in treatment of cancers related to skull base, oral cavity, larynx, pharynx, esophagus, thyroid, parathyroid, lungs and mediastinum. He has performed more than 8000 head, neck and thoracic cancer surgeries in his career till date. Dr. Dabas has years of training in Robotic surgeries of the head and neck and thorax cancers. He holds the record of performing the largest number of Trans oral Robotic surgery for laryngeal and oropharyngeal cancers in whole of Asia.

Having performed exceptionally well during his academics, Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas has been practicing Surgical Oncology for more than a decade now. He is the mastermind behind introducing the Trans Oral Robotic surgery Program in India that helps in treating of patients with HPV negative cancers caused as a result of tobacco usage. Under the program he has taught and trained several surgeons in robotic surgery. Along with performing most of his surgeries through Robotic assistance, Dr. Surender Dabas also uses Video/computer assisted procedures. He has performed several computer assisted thoracoscopic surgeries with successful results.

Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas has great interest in academics as well as research. He has a large number of publications to his credit in national and international journals. He is member of renowned medical associations and at the same time also involved in community services. He conducts workshops and seminars through the Spring Hope Cancer Care Foundation and provides free cancer screenings and treatments for the poor people. He constantly makes efforts to make cancer treatment affordable to the poor sections of the society.
