Jaslok Hospital & Research Center is ranked amongst the top ten hospitals in cardiology by The Times. JHRC has the distinction of being the first hospital in Mumbai to introduce 2D echocardiography. It is also the first to perform electrophysiology study (EPS), first to use an Impella left ventricular assist device, implantation of the first drug-eluting stent and also pioneering the first transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
