Dr. Rajendra Toprani is a Senior Consultant, Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, at HCG Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad. After having completed M.B.B.S. he did his M.S. (General Surgery) in 1991 from a reputed institution at Ahmedabad, he recieved training in Surgical Oncology at a famous Institute in Ahmedabad and completed his M.Ch. in 1994. Thereafter, he pursued his interest in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery and underwent advanced training in Head & Neck Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York, U.S.A. in 1996. He is a visiting fellow at M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, USA. His areas of interest are Oral & Laryngeal Cancers, Thyroid and Parotid Tumors. He has expertise in voice preserving laryngectomies and Trans Oral Endoscopic Laser Surgery (TOLS), for which he has attended advanced workshop in Endoscopic Laser Surgery at Kiel, Germany, in 2009. He has many publications in National & International Journals to hos name and has been invited to many conferences for presentations. He is an Executive Committee member of Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO). He was the organizing secretary of International Federation of Head & Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) world tour 2012 conference, at Ahmedabad.

• He is a visiting fellow at M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, USA. His areas of interest are Oral & Laryngeal Cancers, Thyroid and Parotid Tumors. He has expertise in voice preserving Laryngectomies and Trans Oral Endoscopic Laser Surgery (TOLS) for which he attended advanced workshop in Endoscopic Laser Surgery at Kiel, Germany in 2009.
• He is also a trained Robotic Surgeon and underwent training for Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) with Prof. Weinstein at UPENN at Philadelphia in 2016.
• He has many publications in National & International Journals and has been invited to many conferences for presentations. He is a Joint Secretary of Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and Hon. Secretary of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO).
• He was the organizing secretary of International Federation of Head & Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) World Tour 2012 International Conference at Ahmedabad.
